Why Ivara is becoming my main

Ok I am SO enjoying playing Ivara. Granted I play her in a VERY odd way.
I do not put in anything in increase her sheilds or her health or armor, I have no real need for it.
With Dread, spira prime, and glaive prime I go into an zone, and cloak. Sneak around loot enemies shoot them in the face, and move on.

The dread is my crit monster, tagging enemies from afar with dread, or if things get to hectic I use my spira to drill into them to weaken their forces. Or if I am feeling VERY sadistic I throw my glaive and navigate it into things.
Alll in all I rarely get taken down unless I am very dumb, and with how I have my mods setup I have enough energy to last for as long as I am in there.

If I am not impaling things to walls or ripping them in half or making their heads explode I am not a happy Froggy.

My Loki has 225 health and 225 shields, so I just go invisible and tear things apart with massive melee damage until DE bugs the game.

I never ehard of this before, mind explaining it to me?

Since Ivara is incredibly squishy, most people forego survivability mods for duration, efficiency, and Infiltrate.

While i do like ivara for solo play, she's what i call slow and methodical... but she's no Loki, when i play Loki i can stay invisible for long peroids, have zero slow down and can whipe through groups left and right with out stopping. On top of this he simply has such amazing control with his augument... i do love Ivara but she will never replace my Loki as top frame.

As for how i play my Ivara...

i use zero survivability in favor of high duration high effiency and range. Why range? because it effects the size of your sleep arrows effect allowing you to sleep whole groups of enemies, even whole rooms. She's the BEST frame for focus farming and affinity farming bar none and i use her for just that.

not every one plays at the same time, and not ever build would be fun for another person.
I bet there is some one out there who has some how managed to build a tanky Ivara with lots of life leeching mods.

I have 2 build for her. Sentient hunter and spy build.

Sentient hunter focuses on efficiency, strength, and slightly duration to give more oomph for Artemis Bow and stay at prowl for a while. Range is of small matter for the run. Artemis Bow damage, coupled with proper modding for primary, can kill Sentient with few shots, even if they get used to your weapon element.

Spy is standard one with efficiency, duration, and slightly range. Infiltration mod to ease the laser problem.

I use to run an Artemis build with some duration.

But my primary was a hushed tonkor. Because watching big groups explode while the rest stand there doing nothing was hilarious. I called it spontaneous combustion Tuesday. Sadly they broke that.

I also like Ivara since I actually use the environment to move and not just bullet jump everywhere.

i tend to go around invisible and poke people to death.
Personally I wish I could steath kill poeple more often while invisible. But its fun poking them from up close with an arrow and watching them imbed into the wall.

Yup, no "odd" here. That's pretty standard way. The only "odd" thing is the "main" thing. Seems odd to be fixed on one frame when there are so many and each is different :)

Personally Ivara is slow to me for most cases. She is not fast in movement. She is slow to kill mobs, dread doesn't help that much, Cerata fits me much better then G.Prime..

Good thing you can pick any frame here and they work well :)

I one shot high level mobs pretty easy, aim for the head, and fire. I red crit most of the time, and when I get my riven mod in, that red criting will double up.
Ivara for me is not about killing real fast, its about killing efficently, I gringe when I miss a shot.
Ivara is a sniper at the very most. In survival and defence missions shes good taking up a nest and popping things in the end, with putting importance on hard to kill targets.

yes, but Valkyr smashes 5 lvl 100 mobs with one slide and even that is faster then Speed triggered Dread.

For today's sortie (lvl 100) I used Titania. She shoots 10 rounds per second and you will see 100k hits there. It takes around 2-4 shots per mob and that's high fire rate weapon. They just die by groups at any distance. I used Dread too when I landed for energy and the difference is enormous.

Ember, Frost, Equinox, Nidus... They are pretty fast killers.

Dread is slow and single target :( Rakta Cernos is much faster but still not enough (and not good for Ivara as it's proc breaks Ivara invis). I like bows. They are fun. But they are slow compared to anything else.

But as I said. WF is about fun and ANY frame works with some love and time to learn to use all skills :) It was strictly my point of view why I don't pick her.
