How do I start over and delete my character?

I orginally played this back in 2013, but stopped. Now I came back and want everything to be fresh. I had a gaming laptop back then, which died on late 2013. Now I have a great gaming PC, but I don't want this old save/character.

Not easily. Either get a new account or send a ticket to support. For the ticket include as many screenshots as possible (emails, in-game, on website). Just remember they are under no obligation to reset your account (they dont really do it anymore because of potential trolls).

Their intention is so people don't have multiple accounts, so you can't get an alerts reward or invasion weapon part twice.

The reason they don't recent accounts usually is because if someone hacks your computer, or you just leave it unlocked and your relative borrows it, you don't have to worry about them deleting all of your progress.

is no reason to reset you can use every weapon frame, and item in game, freely edit them on the fly, ect nothing is set in stone...

Multiple 'characters' if you mean frames is already a thing. It isn't like the type of game in an MMORPG sense where you just create a character then you can delete it, but you can always just choose to manually sell warframes or weapons you don't want.

Your account is a global thing that basically stores your frames, equipment and other things like platinum. So to reset all of that requires you to contact support for good enough reason.

its not utter BS, because people spend plat, and over 500 hours getting everything etc, and starting again can take the fun out of the game, simply because you have to grind like crazy again and you'll be tempted to spend more plat

As a founder, I would love to start from scratch again, just to see how well the New Player Exprince has changed, and also, to see how quickly I can unlock everything. lol

It should be pointed out that DE has nothing against players haveing more than one acount. BUT if you trade between them, thats a big no no.

I'm in the same situation. I also played a few years ago, and I had a potato laptop back then. Now, I have a new gaming one and I decided to try the game again last night. I pretty much forgot how to play it already and so and wanted to start fresh. But, I want to keep using my old account connected to my email.
