How does a Warframe bullet-jump about 50 meters with a 1-ton weapon (Soma/Soma Prime, Tonkor, Ect)
DE should add Weight to every weapon and warframe.
The more weight, the worse your bullet jump is. This is to prevent people from rushing through entire levels, making cover actually needed . If players just can't jump constantly to victory, they would make good use of those crates.
Lets say RHINO can carry about 750 kg (Metric System is easier imp) before "Parkour Dampening"
The SOMA PRIME could be about 400, and the Galatine Prime could be 300. That leaves a tad bit more for a secondry.

Loki could have about 200 kg before "Parkour Dampening".
That means a Soma Prime would basically ground him, only allowing small leaps.
BUT he has increased bullet jump when under 200kg, making him even better for spies but preventing the Soma-Demon-Bunny-Eater from being used. So let's say the Grakata is about 50 kg, and Dark Daggers about 35.

This would make cover more needed, and also add more room for passives:

Valkry has 70% of the orginal bulletjump, but swords have no mass and blade-based primaries have decreased weight.
Zephyr has decreased "Parkour Dampening" and can jump farther.
Rhino's 4th ability (Rhina Charge?) speed is directly affected by weight slightly.
Wukong has extra momentum when sliding, allowing bulletjumping much farther.

This would also open up new mods:
Weight Reduction Mods
Parkour mods useful now
Riven Weight Mods

This would make end-game bosses harder, but at the same time, easier due to buffs if you lay out your weapons out.

TL:DR verison: Stuff has weights, warframe can only carry so much

HAHAHAHAHA- no.

So you want to add a system that would be detrimental to one of the most fun things about Warframe which is the movement system?

No.

All this types of realism was removed years ago. Vauban's Vortex ability used to slow your sliding if you were too close, wallrun instead of wallhopping. It's a shame that jump range for Jump+Melee was nerfed to oblivion when Bullet Jump was introduce. It was useful against flying targets.

1 tonn weapons..... really? do you know how much 1 tonn is?

Just no. The reason Parkour 1.0 was canned was because way back we'd only use certain melee weapons to copter to gain speed like the Othros Prime, or Dual Zorens.

Now we have Parkour 2.0, a system where we are not restricted by certain melee, thus allowing a much smoother faster paced experience which is what Warframe is. I'm sorry but I don't to feel like I've got a Hobbled Dragon Key equipped just bcause of my loadout.

I know the numbers are supposed to be figurative, but 400 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Kg for an assault rifle?

how about no? In my opinion that would really be boring. That would not be a bad idea in other games but, this game isn't dark souls, you know?
Besides adding more mods and a mechanic that forces you to use them, would f0ck up a lot of builds, if not all of them. And, what's so wrong about rushing? in fact rushing is DE's fault. Rushing is a symphtom of extremely repetitive missions. No matter in what planet are you, almost all the missions are copy paste. Exterminate: kill everyone. Rescue: save the hostage in the same dumb manner. Spy, hack the vaults with the same mechanics.
Do you really expect us to stay half and hour in one exterminate mission after we have done it +100 times? Missions that have absolutley no replay value except for the grinding farming of things. How do you want me to play a mission slowly when there are no interesting things or interesting story ? All we care is the farming. And with RNG drop tables that make you do at least like 10 runs of the same mission, you want to do it fast, really fast. Do you understand what i'm saying to you right now :D ?

Basically, we need to overhaul things.

yeah! we need more thought for the missions! i say, we need more fun storylines aka: quests, and we need a lot of them. I know we already have quests, but those quests just go around the same boring game types. The glast gambit was doing very well. It had a god plot and concepts. The frist mission when you fight along side myconian npc's was actually fun. It was starting to feel like those quests on an open world rpg. i didn't want to rush, cause i wanted to feel the story. And!!! they f0cked it up real good, forcing us to play the index 5 times. like, srsly? they turned what it could have been an amazing quest into a lame one. It seems that they just went full lazy.

No point in that kind of realism in this game. Hell, we got rid of Stamina quite a while back. DE realized it was pointless to put up such an arbitrary way of slowing us down. Not to mention it wasn't even that useful; you could still do lots of action even while the bar was empty just because it was still considered not empty since it always was recharging.

There is no reason to punish someone who wants to bring a Fragor Prime, an Opticor, and Twin Roggas, which all look pretty heavy. I mean, they're already sacrificing fire/attack rate and magazine sizes.

why would you think any realism would be needed/wanted in a game about ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ space ninjas with assault rifles?
