Best archer-frame is Ivara, pretty much hands down. You can get her parts through Spy missions, as per: http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Ivara

i would say ivara because of her navigator and she is basically a stealth frame so a bow would fit her nicely.
But farming her is tedious and takes a lot of time cus she drops as spy mission rewards. yes even the blueprint

Ivara is for super bow, it does not matter which you take, you will always use her artemis energy bow. But for empowering regular bows take Zephyr with turbulence (faster arrow flight speed and wind shield from all ranged attacks).

Just a remind: don't even try to find "the one best frame". Use the one best for situation. Same with weapon.

But with bow, Ivara has synergies. You get her parts as random rewards for SUCCESSFULLY completed spy missions. T1, T2, T3 for different parts (4 of them). It takes around 14 spies for one part (might be 30 ofc.).

The "best" way to get her is to farm Loki from Saturn (Hyenas). Fit it for invis duration and sprint speed and then do apy missions over and over (they are fast once you learn all the shortcuts, hidden switches and such). This way you can level a LOT of useless weapons for mastery rank on the way. Spy missions are one of the best for that.
shoud i just buy her becase she sound like a pain in the ass to get ?

If you want your bow to have some AOE I recommend saryn. Cast spore on enemy-> proc toxin on enemy with spore-> watch the tsunami of death spreads among the enemies. Great fun.

Not worth buying (any normal frame).

ANY frame will do good with bow (well, it's bow, it has all kind of issues by itself, but fun for a while).

And it's worth to learn Spy missions anyway. I mean Ivara that can't do Spy missions is beyond embarassing.

Plus picking Loki on the way is always worth. He is the fastest frame for spy/rescue for times when you don't want to bother. That will come handy for sure.

Everything is about synergies and right moded weapons.
We have lot of impact bows (normal, prime and rakta cernos) which you can use with duration frost and his avalanche (dread doesnt work here). White statues cant move and have nice impact dmg boost.. that feels like shooting range instead surviving heavy fight.

Find the frame that fits your style of play the most (try the various frames, most are available for free via farming) as that is what matters; "Being comfortable in the shoes you're in", as it were. Literally any warframe 'can be good with a bow'.

No sense in forcing a style of gameplay that is not to your liking, you will just end up resentful and likely stop playing.

Sounds like a big task, farming and levelling all the frames... But that's part of the game (mastery fodder, etc) so just be patient and you'll find your frame, in time. Any gear in this game can be made 'end game' with a potato and enough forma (and even further still with these stupid Riven mods). Try different things and find what works for you.

As for Ivara -

First and foremost she has a bow ability, Artemis Bow, no matter of primary equipped. So if you want to play with a bow as primary wepon on the first place, Ivara has nothing to do with it, since she basically has her own, custom bow as her ult ability. However what makes her so special is her ability to apply all stats from primary equipped bow to her ult one, making it even stronger; same as Excaluburs' and Ashs' ults benefitting from melee equipped for example.

Unfortunatelly Ivara is extremely hard to get. Her chassis for example drops from spy on Lua (Pavlov) which around 10% of players know how to play. And you HAVE to finish the spy mission with all 3 data extracted successfuly. I knew dozens of people farming for her with no luck for around a year, honestly. I have around 1500 hours and still missing her blueprint! So I did buy her when Darvo offerred a discount and she comes with reactor already installed and it was a nice deal.

Zephyr - have never played with him much, but you can benefit from a bow equipped on him as well, not that much as on Ivara though.

At the end of a day it is your choise, your money, time and resources to spend so never let people say what you should or should not do with your own game. If you dont mind spending time playing spy missions solo or in a group - go ahead and farm her, it is fun anyway, due to the various useful rewards apart from Ivara. If it cannot wait - then go ahead and buy her, you will not regret it.

I wouldn't say Ivara is really that hard to farm personally, although I began my many hours in the game with many, many hours of Spy missions I'll admit lol. Made the complete bp set in around four hours, while maxing out several weapons for mastery on the vault affinity bonuses alone.

That said, the Chassis drops on more than just Lua. I farmed it on Europa I think it was, back when the frame was just introduced. As far as I've read, the drops haven't been altered from the tier system they had originally, which is detailed on the wiki link in my original reply :)

Zephyr can make unique use of a number of weapons, bows included, I have to agree it's another viable choice though access to it is clan research dependent. I've seen a few interesting Penta/Tonkor builds for that frame that just don't mnake sense until you factor in the frame's abilities, that're actually great fun.

Well, some, like you, can drop it faster. Just look at replies on the new stance mod Sovereign Outcast - many people talking about ages of playing survivals on fortress with no luck, when some other reporting of a stance being dropped right away from the first run.

When it comes to farming something rare you just never know and only hope for the best. What I did say is just an observation I have about Ivaras' parts.

at higher levels anyway, bow usage become more challenging despite recent buffs, regardless warame used. there also some unusual bows to suit unusual playstyles. bio-bow, charging/slow blow. slashing/piercing variatons of "generic" one(primed version of cernos afaik shot 3 arrows ;)
also all crossbows worth checking/testing too, perhaps. they lack overpenetration/piercing they had in real usage(and AP rate itself too), but nice option too, yet expensive to build them.
