I really like Ember, but I'm starting to see what people meant when they said that she capped out at higher levels. her damage just isn't enough to kill things and even firequake isn't as reliable other frames CC. She becomes a 'decent' damage dealer and 'decent' cc'er but doesn't do anything better than another frame.

Ember is a bit weak.....not sure why....so leveling ember up to get those mods you need....can be a chore.

But the trick to ember is the abilities.....spam that fire attack...it uses barely any energy hits at a very long range....has a huge blast radius and does alot of damage....

So the trick to ember.....yes as others have said...keep moving.....but also stay at a long range.

You cant just walk though everything...eventualy that doesnt work very well...and it sounds to me...like you actualy play that way.....

So i guess its good thing you are playign the ember frame....it will show you how things will be in your future of game play.

For me, I just use max range (250%), and some power strength (105%), and a balance between duration and efficiency to make World on Fire drain 0.63 energy per second. On top of all that, add Fire Quake. The CC is strong with this one. Your enemies will need to worry about getting up before worrying about shooting you.

Get used to parkour mechanics like rolling (to take less damage while in the animation + avoid getting knocked down by things like Corpus Laser Barriers/Eximus Fire Blasts), sprinting, bullet jumping, sliding, and aim gliding. These can help you survive alot longer and also helps you get around the map faster, too: http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Movement#Sprinting

Also, like other people said that upgrading mods and more so fine tuning to what the weapon is best used with (mod wise) is a good idea to start learning how to do. Paris Prime more crit centric you want to get Serration and Point Strike atleast on it, then you can add things like Vital Sense for more crit damage and then elemental mods for combined damage types like Corrosive: http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Damage_2.0#Combined_Elemental_Types
