point in raising mastery ranks?
Is there any "reasonable" point to get a higher mastery rank other than beeign able to use weapons? I am at mr5 now and I don't see me crafting 23 weapons and leveling them all to max....

You get more daily trades. You can access more relays.

You can get more standing at the syndicates. And you get more initial slots for your frames.

You ned it for more daily syndicate point, weapon unlock, riven unlock, preset slots for warframes, fix point for formad weapons, etc

Lel "23 weapons". Getting to MR23 is closer to 300 weapons and 40-odd warframes (not to mention archwings and their weapons, sentinels, pets...).

Anyways, many better weapons have a minimum Mastery Rank requirement before you're even allowed to use them (the current highest MR requirement for a weapon is 14 for Euphona Prime, and no doubt more weapons will keep being introduced over time with higher and higher MR requirements). Additionally, the amount of syndicate standing you can gain from sigils in one day is capped based on your MR; the higher your rank, the more standing you can get per day. The beginning mod capacity for unranked weapons and warframes is also tied to MR; while this isn't as relevant in the long run since max-ranked gear will always have 30 mod capacity (60 with catalyst/reactor), it does give you a little boost by letting you put a few mods on before you go to level that gear. The cap on the number of Void Traces you can have at once for relic refinement is also tied to MR. Same for the number of player-to-player trades you're allowed to do per day. And of course there's the MR requirements for Riven mods.

mastery rank is the true grind of the game and one of the most important parts as well... everyhting is locked behind your mastery level.. you get access to more weapons... syndicates let you get more standing... more daily trades... your wepaons and frames start off with more modding points available so you can mod them before hitting that level... in the beginging it feels extremely daunting but once you get into a groove and start amkign all of teh frames your level starts jumping up like crazy...

Daily trades, syndicates, initial mod capacity, cephalon simaris are the uses in terms of the later mastery ranks. But you really do want to get to rank 14, because then you'll unlock all the weapons and frames. Galatine Prime and Tigris Prime, two of the best weapons in the game are unlocked at rank 13, for example.

Nah just stay your current mr rank and not be able to use overpowered weapons, unlock missions, increase initial mod capacity (ex. Having 23 mods slots on a rank 0 weapon), not being able to trade much, slow your progression in syndicates and simaris, not being able to use rivens to make your weapons op, increase the number of loadouts you can preset for your frames, and generally just make the grind harder for you since youll be giving yourself a handicap.

Everyone likes handicaps and being weaker than the other guy right? Even though mr is not difficult to rank up. Anyway dont even bother since you cant handle getting past mr5 itll just get harder after all in terms of progression and playing games.

Well it's the type of game that you can play casually and eventually get there anyways.
