So about this Helminth infection on the neck thing...

Why did DE add something like this?
I don't want a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pink, out of place, disease on my Warframe neck just because some neckbeard ♥♥♥♥ sat on an infested chair in the infested Orbiter room...
I get why you'd like to do it personally to get this new pet or whatever.
But, why make it spread like a disease?!
It's literally the stupidest thing ever...
I'm sure in the future it'll be possible to remove it, but why should I have to waste time doing that when it wasn't even my fault in the first place?!
It ruins the looks of my warframe, I don't want it there...

you get niduis you can get this thing and it spreads to other players that do missions with you and you can inject it into your kurbrow to make a new breed

It's random piece of space AIDS that originates from Infested room on your ship, gets catched by Nidus and then spreads to any frame that gets into phisical contact with him. When it fully grows, yo ucan either use it to breed pet infested charger, or go into infested room yourself and get it permanently removed from infested frame.

Iam hapily spreading the Helminth cyst . why you ask ? people that want it get it. the people that dont get the choice. can google for it. then ask them self if they want the pet and if not . cure themself.

Wait 7 days and breed the helminth charger, the little bugger is sooo strong for a kubrow style pet. Else, go to the infested room and have it removed. I was able to remove it on two frames long before 7 days was up.

I can vouch for this. Last time I took my Helminth Charger for a walk, it was stealing all my kills before i had chance to aim my gun at the targets, and he regenerates health over time too which makes him a little tankier than the average Kubrow.

You don't need to finish quest. Room will open for your infested frame after cyst grows fully, and allow you to remove it permanently.

You also don't need quest for Charger.

I know you don't HAVE to do the quest to cure it, but according to the wiki:

"In order to cure an infected Warframe of the virus, the player can enter any Warframe carrying a mature cyst into the Helminth Infirmary and interact with the chair to cure them of the infection."

Which means, I HAVE to wait 7 days for it to be matured to be able to cure it...
I can't actually enter the room until it's matured... Which is stupid!

i got randomly infected . at start of the game . googled . was happy about it. grown my own helmith charger . and reinfected myself :) and now i have it with pride :)

But you can't get infected if the feature isn't in.
Which is what I'm saying, you shouldn't be able to unwillingly get infected. If you want the charger and Nidus, you should have to do the quest, period... Just like you have to do other quests to get the blueprint for certain other frames...
If you want it, do the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ quest, easy as that. Oh it's tedious? You don't want to do it? Well too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad, I guess you can't have the charger then, THAT has always been the mentality before, but suddenly with this it's not? That's stupid.
And you have the farm everything in this game. This game defines endless grind. If you don't like that, then this game is obviously not made for you...

I get it from a story point of view, but it's still stupid.
If anything at least let us cure it as soon as we get it and not when it's matured after 7 days...
