Neither are very great, but Karak Wraith is probably better. Dera Vandal is a fairly fun weapon, but unfortunately it has rather subpar stats.

one thing to reflect on is that the dera will have much better availability than any specific Grineer weapon. There are only two possible Corpus weapons competing for spots as opposed to the.... five or six??? Grineer ones.

one of the Karak's parts didn't even show up for over three months since the drop system started, for reference. Same with Strun.

of course, everything's been available at least once now (except maybe one of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ knife parts, unsure on that one), so everything is probably reasonably purchasable from the market. Dera is probably generally cheaper though, if I had to guess without checking.

Well, seems like as good an excuse as any for Braton Vandal to finally make a comeback, if you ask me...

both can be made good with the right riven but getting the right riven can be costly, only worth if you like either of the weapons and want them too be viable enough for sorties, as for which too go with.... dont know much about the karak but the deras nice
