Prisma grakata and karak wraith viable for endgame?

Are they worth investing in forma wise? And whats their comparison to current higher damage dealers in the primary category?

I plan on investing in 5 forma each but need help in deciding priority or if its even worth it to kill lvl 80+ enemies

i'd say prisma grakata is viable for endgame (sorties and probably beyond that). i'm not entirely sure with karak wraith, but i'd say you'll probably need a riven

Already got twin graks they are doing sorties really well actually.

Well, automated weapons generally aren't that great in endgame. Especially since 2 top weapons in that category are now vault-locked, while third one is MR12. That said:

Yes, Grakata can be good crit weapon, especially if you get good riven for it.
No, Karak Wraith is utter ♥♥♥♥.

If you want best-of-the-best weaponry though, I suggest you reorient your attention towards bows and shotguns. Or maybe some burst-fire rifles.

Yes in theory but same can be said with mk-paris and mk-hikou. But i think the prisma grak and karak wraith can be viable i just want to see if itll be able handle it from people who actually use em.

Prisma Grakata works great without a riven in end-game, the Karak Wraith on the other hand falls short without one as it's not that much different from a standard Braton, but as Fishyflakes states, Karak rivens can buff it quite significantly to be just as good as the Prisma Grakata.

i haven't really invensted much time in my prisma grakata, but i know it's viable for endgame, you'll need some ammo packs though

The Prisma Grakata is very much so Viable. While it doesn't quite pack the Soma's punch, it makes up for this with massive firerate, making the time to kill decent, although it burns through ammo very quickly. It requires Carrier or Ammo Mutations more than most weapons, but it is completely viable. Maybe not the first choice for dropping bosses though, and not great on Sorties where your Carrier will die easily, but other than that, perfectly viable.

The Karak Wraith, being one of my favorite weapons, is sadly just barely viable for Sorties if you either have a good Riven or you really pump some Forma into it. I haven't been lucky enough to get any good Rivens, but with I think four Forma it performs alright at the third tier Sorties.

yes, it's worth it just like many other weapons if not all of them, it all comes to you, how much you learned about moding and how you decide to mod.

I got like 6 forma prisma grakata and 4 forma karak wraith, both with good rivens mod installed
Prisma grakata is good for late game no doubt, but without a riven it has bad ammo usage... Karak wraith falls of really fast, I use it only with stleth.

Just 1 thing to note about Grakata; if your FPS drops from time to time, the recoil can give you a headache.

The Prisma Grakata has both a higher status chance and higher rate of fire than the Karak Wraith, so it is better for status.
