Whatever happened to void keys?
Plus void is a normal tileset now? The hell? Now what's gonna be unique about the void. Seriously, It would make sense to go to the void with keys.... What are these relics even? Why? What? When?

Bite me.

This is kind of stupid becuase of course you can make stuff radiant to get better drop chances but still, they could have kept keys and do the same. Now, we don't have the freedom to go on any key or fissure misssion we want to, f.e. I want to go on a survival but there is no survival fissure right now.

My point still stands, they should have just revamped keys, not remove them and make the void completely open and remove it's "voidness" or "mysteriousness".

I'm sorry you hate not having to spend weeks to get a single prime part.

I guess it kinda sucks from this point of view that Void kinda lost it's mysteriousness and... voidness, whatever voidness is, but Relics system presented itself as much more superior one to keys. The only problem I have with it - is that it is more oriented on team players, and I prefer to run solo most of the times. I, personally, have no nostalgia what so ever for 9+hours runs in the Void for a certain item.

my only gripe with the relic system is that i can't just use one relic on an endless mission for 100 minute (give or take a couple rotations) survival farming sessions. i now have to use 1 relic at each 5 minute point making the survival relics kinda dull IMO. you used to get more bang for your buck with the key system.

You do get bang for your buck here too, just in a bit of a different way. For example, infinite missions grants additional rewards the futher you go, eventually starting to give relics (starting from 60m, if I'm not mistaken, they start dropping Radiants).

Yea but nobody ever wants to stay that long. First rotation is up and everyone's "OK jump on evac"

I have a love/hate relationship with it. I can obtain what I want alot easier, but it's double farming (relics, then prime parts) I ended up buying valk prime because I could not get the relics to drop to farm chasis. So either way, you still spend hours farming in the hopes that "one thing" drops, it's just reversed now.

I've never seen a group leave an endless after one rotation personally. I can't imagine someone going to an endless fissure mission for one rotation. Maybe it's just because I've done things like gone to 60m on mot with just me and one other person. No words, wasn't a fissure mission, complete stangers and somehow we decided we'd stay that long. But I digress as I'm getting too far off track.

To be perfectly honest, this isnt a new problem exclsuive to endless fissure missions. Id get a group together to do a t4 survival and at 5 min people would be like, well it didnt drop lets evac and repeat. Id be like, im not burning a t4 survival key on 1 freakin rotation, get your ass back into the fight lol. Now we have even more insentive to stay (credit and resource boosters each rotation (= more traces) and people are clamoring to leave even more.

That's really sucky lol. Well atleast there are some people like me willing to stay an hour (granted we can actually go an hour). The thing that happens most to me is people leaving on the fourth rotation right before an upgraded relic we can use in the same mission.

When they implemented the fissure system it was in near alpha stage, it was so bad that they completely overhauled it within one week. Even then it had plenty of problems: enemies ran out in exterminate missions, enemies didn't spawn after objective had been completed, enemies did not spawn properly in sabo, you could not see drop rarity or how many of them you own, you could not see how many reactants other players had and even after they implemented a system for doing that the amount it showed was broken for a long time. Endless modes also didn't give you a chance to equip any relics after the first round so there was no reason to continue after 5min, 5 waves, etc. As it is now the system is actually better than the old system. But when it came it was horrible, only a very few people liked it. Because the fissure system was so unfinished back then you could say that SotR really was the worst update WF has ever received, but it also implemented the current starchart which is by far the best WF has ever had so idk.
