Most Underrated Frame/Weapon

Whats the weapon and frame in your arsenal that you think is underated?

Mine is Equinox and Secura Penta.

Equinox is a beast in day or night form, with augments the mode is doubled. Massive AoE death dealer, slow aura, healer, finisher frame, Any way you mod this frame is powerfull and fun to use. Mend even heals sortie defense targets. 2 equinoxes , 1 in day and 1 in night plus an Ev Trin could conquer any mission. But yet i never see this frame, and get shunned when i play it.

Secura Penta. Again, a beast launcher, easily better then the "meta" tonkor. Any way you mod this gun is jaw dropping. With Adhesive Blast or Tether Grenades, the fun just escalates. I've been useing this almost exclusivly for the past week on all kinds of missions with a blast/viral/tether grenad build, and it has gone all the way thru kuva floods, sorties ect. But yet i never see it being used or WTB in chat.

1)Underated means you think its powerful but nobody uses it, not underused weapons in your arsenal
2)Latron and Reaper prime are pretty powerfull weapons if you know how to mod well.
3)Gammacore is actually more powerfull then synoid version. Additionally, its "weak" because when it first came out, it was too powerfull, and it was nerfed to hell.

The new Tether Grenades penta-exclusive mod lowers/disables penta self damage and turns it into an incredible CC weapon.

Right now, it's a top tier weapon.

But do we really want to sacrifice damage just so we can spam it up close?

its not about spaming it up close, it sucks in nearby enemies, which amplifies its damage potential because more enemies are being affected by 1 grenade. Its the difference between killling 2-3 enemies or 10. With Tether Grenades im still dissolving crowds of Eximus Sortie Grineer with 25k crits, so its not that big a damage falloff.

The problem is niether of those are very underrated. (Have you looked at the prices on the Secura Penta after that mod for it came out? And the Equinox spam?)

Personally I would have to say Atlas and Venka Prime.

Atlas is labled the "fun but useless" frame, but his damage outpost is severely underestimated and he kit is solid, with his 1 being the mainstay ability, and his 2 providing (rather hefty actually, thing has a lot of health) cover plus mild CC, his 3 as a hard stun, and his 4 as some small CC and serves as a distraction.

Venka Prime's release went something like "Oooh these are pretty good with a nice gimmick and shiny" then a week later nobody gave a ♥♥♥♥. While they do lack the range of something like the Galatine Prime, then totally make up for that in damage. They shred.

Hydroid, he looks pretty cool, and 3/4 of his abilitys are alright, like the barrage, wave, and tentacles. Theyre good for slowing down the enemy, so you can throw these at an objective and bam the enemies are getting flung around and crap. sorry its the morning so my typing might not be great.

primary, soma prime, tonkor, tigris, they are all underrated, they deserve WAY more love. xD

i can literally count on one hand how many times ive seen equinox in random pub or oraganized squad missions post release after leveling month. And i have never seen equinox in a team build.

Could you share tonkor and secura penta builds?

I think I'm doing somethign wrong, my secura penta is showing higher damage than tonkor with only 1 mod difference (tether grenaddes vs another 90% elemental)

Tested against level 75 grineer elite lancers, Tonkor dealt 1-3k Yellow Crits, or 35k Red Crits agaisnt single targets (if argon scope was activated)

Penta against same enemies, single grenades would drag in 3-4 enemies and deal consistent 8,688 yellow crits.

You're supposed to put crit on tonkor, tonkor deals like 3-4x more dmg than penta when properly modded.

Personally I would have to say Atlas and Venka Prime.

Prices for Secura Penta will always be up because its in the least used syndicate. When the mod came out, demand went up because people wanted to try the new mod, and supply was low, so prices went up. I literally never see this weapon used, when it outperforms Tonkor in every way. (and always has) Equinox, like i said above, i can count on one hand how many times ive seen this frame after leveling month of its release, and never see it being requested in team builds.

Atlas i would whole hearedly agree is underrated. I took it on Long Shadow Tac alert and basically soloed the entire mission while my team died around me. But it can be argued that because of his obtainment method, its simply too hard for people to obtain, so peopel snub him, no matter how great he is.

Venka prime i havent used yet, so i cant speak for its power, but i have never liked claws in general, thier fighting movement is just meh. So that is probbaly part of the issue.
