Miter is better. It has much higher status chance, huge innate punch through and its augment is actually very useful.

While Panthera feels like an Attica downgrade, Miter has a power of its own. Piercing through a long line of enemies with a huge blade and seeing them bleed to death in a fraction of second is very satisfying.

Miter is better, higher dmg and riven disposition and 100% status chance with the secondary fire. Its syndicate augment is also way better.

Miter has the much better augment, but for combat i could never come to like that firing mechanic. Panthera is a beast in its own right post buff, you cant go wrong either way.

Before the fairly recent buffs given to both weapons, Miter was completely superior to the Panthera that is made from it. Now, however, Panthera is a pretty decent gun in its own right. Not world-shattering, but far from being trash. Miter is still useful in its own right, although it generally still shines best when used with Mag's Magnetize ability.
