Personally i do prefer other swords to the war like galatine is way superior but again it all trickles down to personal preference
War is the No2 weapon in the game behind Galatine. Bear in mind its an impact weapon, I always combine this with Gas or Toxin to ignore shields. Both status effects scale with your damage too.
under the furry is pressure point
I only know one setup which kinda works without elementals and it is relies heavily on installing a ton of event combo mods.
I prefer the Broken War, because by far it's the best sword I have ever used and I find greatswords too slow, I consider my melee weapon as a backup that can strike fast with enough force. Also, please note that War deals mainly IMPACT, meanwhile Broken War dealsmainly SLASH.
Broken War is curently the best Long Sword in the game.
War isn't the best Great Sword in the game. Galatine Prime beats it in every cathegory.
So yeah, Broken War is objectively worth more if you want to have the best weapon in each cathegory.
So your saying that the base stats of the borken war are HIGHER than the base stats of the WAR??
Thats backwards and really doesnt make sense.
Screenshots of both weapons unmodded please?
Slash damage
Decent status damage
High speed
War:
High crit
Long range
The weapons are 2 different types of weapons that fill two different playhttps. Both are good in thier own right but must be modded / weilded for the right purpose
It's extremely ugly and has a similar effect to TF2's Gibus, I.e you look like a unaware noob.
