Penta and Synoid. I believe Penta just had it's grenades travel much shorter distance. Maybe it has been fixed as I haven't used it in over a year.
With Synoid weapons the orbs will go together much quicker. So it's not all that bad but sometimes a bit of extra range is good.
even though with my phage with my 340 multishot with all 4 duel stat mods having %50 in teh staus screen,with or without mutishot it was %50(since you think it affects my status per second with the %340 mutlishot i should have over %200 staus which is not the case)
staus was going off exactly the same with or without multishot
and also it doesnt make your beam weapon shoot double the firerate. it just doesnt.
if it did ammo would be eatin up faster. but with my tests. ammo consumption was exactly the same
only firerate mods do and when firerate goes up status goes up which it deosnt show taht with jsut multishot on
so in all honesty i think your talking out Your ***
i spent well over an hour testing multi shot with beam weapons and seeing how often status would go off. with or without multishot. and i am right. multishot DOES NOT affect status per second. if it did. IT would be shown in teh aresonal. why would they hide status from multishot fro beam weapons, DE would let it be shown.

and im gonna keep saying your wrong. also others also backed me up on the part that multsihot doesnt affect status per second
BUT FINE. ill go do a mot and see how often status goes off.(warning i bet its gonna give me teh exact same results)
first test. only my 2 multi shot mods(%232+%120) plus fire and ice mods to make blast an easy to notice proc.
so with multishot and no extra status in your way you think it works i should have %60 status per second(sps) and should be going off at a good rate... but its still like its %15 huh so weird.
test 2, only 4 duel stats mods for blast and crrosive. with %50 status. and surprise it went off more often than with jsut multis shot.
test 3. both my MS and all duel stats mods.
and the resultes. exactly the same as test 2... hmm thats odd
a detailed video on status per second.
and not once is multishot ever mentioend for staus per second.
searched over reddit, wfforums that bring up status per second. and not once is multishot brought into the equation
for staus per second, multishot is PURE damage increase

i was talking about status per second weapons and it seemed you were to.
and your facts were wrong. then i went out of my way to prove you wrong with facts and tests.
just to quote soldier so i make sure you see it ". DE specifically put in the patch notes about a year ago that multishot no longer applies to status per second weapons"
also then what was your point cause iv been only talking about multishot and sps weapons nothing else.
heres a side note.
no beam sps weapon can compare to a shotgun with %100 status, my persanl fav is teh boar prime. status for days, melts armor for days. makes enemeis do pushups for days.
