Small Blue Mini-map Marker

Came across this small blue mini-map marker while doing a spy mission. Just curious as to what it is, and why it seems to disappear when I get closer to it or go into the room on the far side of it. Not sure how to share the screenshots I took, not an avid forum user :(

It's an ally

If it's a blue circle, it's probably an ally, with a few exceptions.

Occulysts on Lua appear as blue circles too because they're technically neutral, it's the Sentient fighters they summon who're hostile.

It can't be an ally as I'm playing solo. It's on the Oceanum node on Pluto, so no Occulysts either.

It's a Corpus node, right ? Might be a Bursa you hacked, a Moa you summoned with a cabinet (that you also hacked) or possibly a Syndicate NPC, if you were doing a Syndicate mission. I don't know what else it could be.

Friendly players are never marked with a blue circle; only AI NPCs that the game identifies as friendly, which can show up regardless of whether you're playing with other people or not.

It still shows up when I go back down the elevator, but it turns white/grey. Checked up and down that whole area on both floors and there is nothing there, nothing with the scanner either. Curiouser and curiouser...

If it turns from blue to white/grey based on your altitude, I'd have to say it's actually a room, or at least something the minimap is registering as a room.
