Orokin Moon Organ Puzzle is the most frustrating thing EVER
Seriously, who designed that?
This is the most infuriating jumping "puzzle" I have ever come across.

To be clear: I mean that Organ pipes jumping and shooting thing.

It's just a memory game. If you can't remember, either grab a piece of paper and quickly write down the order you see the lights blink or use video recording software (or your smartphone cameras). :steammocking:
It's actually easy and relaxing... after you ignore the enemies, of course (just clean up the area before activate). Just need to see the pattern like the famous Simon game or any similar like Bop It. The sequence only has 5 steps and afaik the platforms don't repeat. There are only 8 platforms to step on, arranged symetrically. Keep all that in mind and take it as a therapy, a challenge, a goofy thing to do with good rewards: octavia's part and a reinforced orokin container (scan it).

If you didn't memorize a pattern, reactivate for another one.

I don't think he means the memory game. Pretty sure he met the organs you have to jump through.

A tip, use Ivara and shoot the dashwire arrow everywhere. As long you don't touch the ground, it won't reset. Make 1 failsafe dashwire in the center area so you can continue on.
Oh, crap. you mean the agility test. You lucky I checked back in here. Well, when originally designed, it was supposed to be played the way you surely are trying. Gladly, there is a way around that, and I hope DE doesn't "fix" it anytime soon: every time you get inside a pipe, do a bullet jump AFTER you get propelled from the pipe. The idea is to stand at the upper ground--that won't reset the test at all. The shooting part shouldn't be a problem anymore since you will be standing solid ground and take your time to shoot the targets. Same about jump down/up into the pipes. The trip to the hole at the ceiling is a bit tricky but is not hard to do so. Only do the last jump from 1 of the highest pipes in the middle.

If that doesn't help, then you need to git gud or play another game. See that without that workaround, few people would ever be able to get there, and noone would worry about do so because that mod isn't that important.

most of the challenges are terribly designed, even the "trick the eye into shooting the columns" one cause its so inconsistent

I've done that test so much solo I can do it perfectly every time. The trouble is when you try to do it for other players and explain to them what to do they usually mess it up several times. Even when you tell them to just wait at the end and Nova portal them into the enterance.

it's pretty easy, IF no one is shooting at you while doing it.
a few tips:
- IF you have ivara, using her zip-lines is a great boone with this puzzle. zephyr also helps.
- bulletjumping out of the organ-holes and then gliding toward the next "landing one" helps
- remember you can stand on the upper part (the lid) of an open pipe too - more landing space
- one thing, that many not know about: you can land and walk on the upper level part of the room without resetting the puzzel - so bullet jumping out every time, and then take a better position before glide/jumping down into the next, makes the whole thing an easy gig.

The idea is that players should learn and be able to do this with any frame, not just cheese.

The jumping from pipe to pipe require a certain skill in hand-eye coordination, getting that "feel" on how your frame moves in the air using glide and letting it land where you want with pixel precision.
I notice in Spy missions that not everybody has this skill when they hurl themselves headfirst into lasers with the elegance of an elephant.

When you ascend from the pipes, do not glide. In fact, don't move, just let it launch you straight up. Shoot the next wall switch while you do this.

When you are about to reach the peak, this is when you start to glide forward towards the next pipe, you get better control over your trajectory. Also keep tapping the glide button every second, do not keep it pressed down. You will notice it becomes easier.

I suppose hardware could limit some people into doing this right; without a smooth frame rate I can imagine this being hard. You can't get that right "feel" with stuttering animation.

The final top pipe, many people have trouble with it. When you enter it, just face the ceiling hole and hold down forward. Let it launch you naturally, when you reach the peak of the launch, THEN you double jump while still holding forward. You will enter the hole perfectly.
