There is absolutely nothing in the "DLC" (basically just quick-access stuff packs) that cannot be easily obtained in-game. They are just an overpriced, pointless waste of your money. Game is just fine without spending a cent.

The DLC packs are more 'starter packs' that can help you out, but alot of the stuff in them can be farmed ingame (even the platinum). So it isn't really advisable to get them, but instead just to wait for a 75% discount from daily login and buy platinum that way. The game is playable without any of these starter packs, yes.

those are way over priced and a massive ripoff and not even worth your time. since it only gives mods ((easy to obtain)) credits ((you litterly get them all the time its the ingame currency like gold in wow)) and plat ((premium currency)) but at a insainely high markup if you want plat just wait tell you get a 50 or 75% off plat from daily logins or trade items with other players for plat.

oh and just a heads up you will see items in the game's store ((which is to buy the bp to make a item or spend "plat" on it which is a MASSIVE waste)) you cant directly buy the bp for. those items are usualy either behind a boss or the bp is a clantech weapon aka you can only get the bp from being in a clan with that weapon researched. aka clan puts in resources,waits a set time,then they can buy the bp with credits to make the gun.

i think you must be confusing DE with another company, there's no such thing as DLC in warframe.

It's an issue with Steam, who misleadingly labels the starter "stuff packs" available from the Store page as DLC's.

well its more so steam just making it "easy" for themselfs by just labeling it dlc.

Just play dont pay, the mods that come with the packs are easy to obain in game and platinum is easy farmed once you have the relic segment in your ship unlocked
