Fissure without relic

So is it rude to go into a fissure without a relic? I just want to farm traces but don't want the remaining party to be mad that i don't have any relics with me.

If you're just joining random public groups, I'd say no. Since not bringing a relic means you also don't get to pick somebody else's Prime drop, I don't think many people care. That, plus you take whatever you get in public matches.

Set to solo and do it alone.

I think it is rude to go in with no relic...but then I think it is rude to not let everyone finish getting their reactants and alot of people are too impatient so, whatever.

There are times when the game forgets you picked one and you don't really notice until you got 10 void shard or until the end mission screen.

lulz you wanted to do it to leach other peoples relics yes that would be increibdly rude... the only point in running them relic less is to get void traces but I usually just run one of the relics I have 40+ of and take forma or ducat fodder...

If you're going to run fissures for traces, you're better off solo because:
- You extract as soon as you want to
- All the reactant drops where you can see it

Just run the lowest level ones solo. As being on the higher level ones doesn't give you anymore void tracers.

Do longer fissures reward more traces? I've noticed that last excavation after about 4 rounds i received over 30 traces while on an extermination I only got 9

Well, you get the traces when you gather 10 fragments, so presumably in the missions where you can open multiple relics, every 10 fragments should get you traces.

on a side note if your new to game and somehow have 0 relics at all doing a relic run with some randomers and hanging it out as long as they can , will most likelygive you few relics to play with for your next run

Nope, it's all random and doesn't matter how long you stay or how high the difficulty is on the mission.
