At chapter 3 (I think) there's the part where you come across a kid and Mr. Chopped where the kid asked to play to save him. I keep getting the choices wrong three times? How do you get pass this or am I doomed for one that one ending?

I did, you don't have to choose the boxes I think but I've been clicking elsewhere it just said there's nothing on the floor and wall? Is there something I'm missing? Before we start it also says something about the room door?
