(Spoiler) The doll and other questions.
How come Mr Crawling tells me the doll is evil early in the story (which for the record I trust you with all my heart Mr Crawling) but later down the line if I choose not to break the doll when i'm tiny and with Mr Hood guy nothing bad happens as a result? Did I miss the result of this choice?

Also what is up with the blue TV and why is it dangerous.

Also I never understood what the two buckets (one half empty and one half full) words meant. I guessed low and high but the words never really fit in any of my discussions even as I adjusted further down the line.

Regarding the buckets, there isn't a single-word translation for these in English because we use different words for countable and uncountable nouns (many vs much water). The answer that works in all situations is: "small amount"/"large amount".

As for the doll, no clue. It's clearly dangerous when you encounter it with Mr. Crawling but nothing happens with it with Mr. Hood.

The blue TV belongs to or is at least used by Ms. Blue-Clad. Everything that is that bright blue is hers and you encounter her later in that room, the death effect is the same as when you get killed by her too. I guess she just didn't like you messing with it?

The bucket words are "few/a little" and "many/much".

My guess with Mr Hood and the doll is since Mr Hood is the one who interacts with the doll the doll perceives him as a threat that they cannot beat and doesn't attack him. Where as when you encounter the doll earlier, it knows that it can kill you since it perceives you as an easy target.
