I can't join my friends game, and they can't join mine.

I've tried this with all my friends it won't let them join me they click join and it does't say anything at the bottom just says joining at the top and nothing else it's really annoying. And this isn't a one of thing it happens with all my friends and it's driving me mad. Some help would be really helpful. Thank you.

I am having a similar issue, when trying to join a friend's game and vice versa, I am unable to connect and I get a message: "Server failed to respond." Is there a port I must forward? I seemed to be able to join ranked matches without a problem.

I don't think it's a spcs issue mate. I don't think we need to port forward anything either. I just hope we get answers.

There are no ports you should need to have forwarded except the standard steam ones.
It would be great if you could reproduce this with one of your friends and send us the logs. We need logs from both you and one of your friends.

1. Start up the game.
2. You create a server.
3. Your friend tries to join.
4. If it fails, both of you close your games with Alt + F4.
5. Get the logs from %APPDATA%/Arrowhead/TheShowdownEffect/logs/ and post them here.

With logs we should be able to solve the issue :)

Same thing happened to me and my friend, what we did was changing the region of steam. To do this go to Steam > Settings > DLC and Cloud, change the region so you both have the same one (if possible, put US so you can find more servers).
We didnt think that it would help us, but it did. Now we see more servers, and we can join same servers aswell as host our own and play together.

EDIT: Btw, to be able to see if its fix, once you join his lobby or he joins yours, it should say at the bottom of the screen "Synchronizing". If it dosnt appear that, and you only get the "Joning Server" at the top of the screen, then you wont be able to join.

I was getting this as well. I fixed it (each time it happened, which was more than once), just by restarting the game and/or restarting the game & steam. Fixed it every time. Happened to a few of us.

I have a issue where I can't join anyones game and they cant join mine. Big issue in csgo and even the servers menu says no friends playing when I Know they are.

Nobody has a solution yet? I'm trying to join a friends' game in Terraria, but the "Join Game" doesn't come up when I click Multiplayer. I've been able to join his game while we were using the same network, but now we're sitting in our separate houses with our separate internet.
