But 'Thalasso' is simply deep water, without phobia attached. So it could be the actual opposite of making it more horrifying.

Thalassophobia is the *only* fear i have. I laugh at any other horror game/movie, I am here for the deep water that makes me wanna hide in a closet and drown peacefully.

i came to the conclusion because most games 'arachnaphobia' modes make spiders more bearable

well, yes, but if i opened the menu of a horror game and say 'arachno mode' id assume it was gonna turn everything into spiders.And i dont know how you make being underwater less underwater in an underwater game, unless its just peaceful mode. turning it on didnt seem to do anything.

I assumed that this was the case because Home Safety Hotline had similar settings for all kinds of phobias.
