Random Ranger Poison damage?

So near the start of the game, I'm getting more into the combat area with going to the lair, and I literally keep poisonning enemy zombie units and I have NO idea where this poison is coming from. It's literally preventing me from decently damaging or even at all damaging zombies.

Its a talent you chose called Zombie if im reading what you are saying correctly. Healing harms you and poison heals you . And FYI, Fire is best on poison pools and zombies! :)

HAhaha, that's the thing though, none of my characters have Zombie as a trait xD

I spent a good hour or so trying to figure out what it was lol.
There is almost no info on Div OS EE, since 2 is the more recent/ popular game.
