Death Knight Bane

I stumbled across the Sentinels in Phantom Forest and I tried some tricks to get past them, yet to no avail. Then I tried something new. I casted the spell that removes invulnerability from Death Knights and it actually worked! Sentinels died from their own lava trap. I don't know if this is a bug or perhaps a legit way to deal with those statues, but could somebody else confirm it? Dunno, maybe I broke the game or something...

A guy asks a question about the game they don't have, on the platform they don't have it. Strange? Yeah, definitely.

You would be surprised how often it happens people asking on official forums about issues they're having with a game they pirated. Not implying that's your case. It's just strange, that's all.

I understand that perfectly, yet what bothered me was precisely that "Steam police" attitude. Do people really always go on other people's profile to find out if they own the game? I mean, there's no need for any investigation, right? Give me a break, guys... Not every game must be bought on Steam. This is the first and the last topic I created here.

There's no need to check anyone's profile for game ownership. If they own it, they'll have the little mouse next to their name.

And yes, not every game must be bought on Steam, but for every other place to buy (GOG or their site) they have their own forums for questions too.

Guys, all this hostility is needless. It's not our jobs to be the pircay police. This guy should feel comfortable using any forum he wants. You'r antagonizing him is only hurting the steam community by pushing people away from it.

I understand what you mean, and while it's not our job to be the piracy police like you say, I draw the line when I can't clearly see the ownership of the game, at least here. You'd be surprised how often pirates use these discussion pages, official forums, etc to ask for help. and it also didn't help he got so defensive, since most pirates act like that when "cornered".

Anyway, this topic is pretty old, there was no need to rez it... =)

It's not your job to draw lines. I would get defensive too if I was asking a question and was answered with request for proof of purchase by wannabe internet police.

That's the thing, nobody asked anything. It was merely pointed how strange it was that he was asking for help here when he didn't have the game purchased on Steam, he got defensive, and that was it.

Anyway, I'm just gonna leave this topic so it goes back into the black hole it got out of.
