I'm supposed to get gist by using the barley on the mill, but both the HE mill and the one in Cyseal won't work. I just hold the barley over it and all it says is "path blocked". I get a cogwheel when I hover over it, but nothing happens when I interact with it.

Bump. Could it be that it's a bug?

You need barley (icon like a sack), not wheat. You can gather barley from a small field outside the town to the west where you can find Arhu and the other cat (a little south of the sceleton merchant). Interact with the crops to gather it.

If you really have barley and it doesn't work it's most likely a bug. But are you sure it doesn't work? The icon of the barley stays the same.

Sounds relieving, but it says the crops have already been harvested.

Nevermind, I found it in my inventory. Thank you. Feel very stupid now.
