Hunter's Edge hidden villagers

I've been looking for these guys for over an hour now and I've kind of given up. It's the quest The Hunt in Hunter's Edge. I've already completed everything up until this and getting into the wizard's house. I've searched around a bit and people said they're under a fake boulder, but I can't seem to find it. Help appreciated!

hey question ... i have completed talking to the family but it didnt end the quest.. is there another peice to it?

Could you tell me where the boulder is? I looked for it for an hour and pretty much quit out of the game in frustration. I'll answer your question after I find them.

yea the boulder is near the rock path in the water.. right above it.. its called massive boulder

The location of the boulder was marked as a golden insignia on my map, should be the same for you guys.

You could answer his question anyway, which you didn't.
I found the servants through the wizard's house, but didn't have at the moment the ring Icara gives you to identify yourself. Now I'm trying to get through the boulder (as the wizard's house is mayhem) but cannot get past it. All my character says when I click it is something like "This boulder looks unreal". Dragging it didn't help either.

yea you need to destroy it by hitting it.. secondly thx anyway i figured this out a while ago haha before any rresponses

Ehm so, i found a way into wizards house, butfirst i killed almost everyone in the village(Hounters Edge), men and orcs both because i discoverd from the temple in the right bottom corner that one orc killed some man.So they started to figth together(after i showed broken horn to leader of mountain warriors) and i just killed them all.could find the damn wizzards house or big boulder, and then i dicoverd, undiscoverd path at bottom of map, there was house of wizzard and i just sneaked inside and used green teleport fast(before traps even activated) and there i was with the villagers.Hope the helps to someone :)

Seriously though...where is this boulder? Saying it's near the rock path in the water is a horrible description. Is it actually near the Wizard House? Is it north of the city? Is it actually massive?

Check the map. A marker should have appeared near the "Ransacked House".
The quest log, as for EVERY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ QUEST in this game, just sucks.

I understand and in some way, appreciate the fact that the game do not give you a step-by-step guide but for god sake at least write decently some information in the damn quest log.

Anyway, talked to the family. They ask for a proof... and the quest log just tell me nothing.
Seriously, using a wiki/forum to been able to play should be acceptable for a sandbox game. Not for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CRPG.

I really hate when people cant describe loctions better like its really not that hard. So heres how I do it.

Under you mini map you will see cords go to x:315 y:18
Behind the Ransacked House you will see a broken shack.
The so called HUGE boulder is right below the shack.
If your on the right part of the quest you should be able to put your mouse over the boulder and it will light up.
Cast a spell on it I used Flare and it breaks.

I'm just wonderring why you guys can enterring the wizard's house without finding the family first. I went into that house by the portal in that cellar.
