Stat page reset; desyncs(?)
Occasionally, during multiplayer, the stats in the inventory page reset to base values, in that all attributes are 5 (not including additions from equips etc), and all traits, abilities, and other things I can't remember I set to 0, or none. It seems to happen randomly, but it's happened more than once for sure.

Another problem I've frequently come across is, especially during dialogue, one character will keep running and 'wallhack' their way in one direction until the game supposedly resyncs. It also happens during battle sometimes, but the other person does not see this and only sees what is actually happening. I've attributed this mostly to lag, but believe felt it worth reporting anyway.

I've had both happen a few times both before and after launch.

the wall hacking i think is a desync. your game things people are still moving when in reality they have stopped. it auto fixes itself when their location changes from where they stopped. it's really annoying in combat. I really wish i knew a fix because we both have decent connections. it could be packet loss or just how the game is coded.

as for the stat/inv resetting, this is a really easy fix. well it's not really a fix more of something you just need to do. who ever is joining the game needs to wait till after the host has loaded. it seems that if you join part way in the loading screen the joining person's game doesn't get the char details from the host so it just defaults what a level 1 human with no points/spells/talents/traits and just a pot. just be patient and wait for the host to load in then join him.

Actually I am getting this bug EVERY time I play with my friend and even waiting 'till he has loaded everything does nothing at all, my character is still bugged... :died:

I agree. The host never left the game and we still had the problem with the stats and missing inventory. We had to lead a really old game to fix that.

We're still experiencing the bug, but we've found a simple workaround. If the joining player get the bug, the hosting player "quickloads" the game and everything goes back to normal-

Bumping this topic because it's the most recent one I found about it via forum searching. My friend and I have this problem constantly; his stats will not only occasionally reset when he loads in, but it happens periodically throughout the game, sometimes when no loading (not even a new area) was involved. It happened last night and couldn't be cleared until I (the host) loaded back four previous saves. It's a bit infuriating, and I've not found any specific cause for it or reliable solution.

Shiptastic's is actually the best solution. Make sure the host is loaded before the other tries to join. It gets tedious having to do it over, but is the best way to deal with it as far as I'm aware.
