All games on steam are priced this way, by regional tiers. Not every region can afford the same amount on a video game, and they wuold rather sell it for less than get no sales at all.
do ur mathematics
Russia always have them alot cheaper but 80% of the game bought with the cheap russian price are regionlocked and cant be used/installed outside russia. in my opinion larian should do the same :P
Nah, not 80 percent. Probably 20 or less. Most indie games don't have any locks. I hope it stays that way. Also this encourages more people to buy the game.
That doesn't seem right... Americans always pay roughly $5-$10 more than the UK equivelent (usualy roughly $10 extra on AAA and $5 on most indie games), higher taxes I think? But £30 = $50? The pound is strong but even through the weird gaming pricing system it ain't that good.
From memory I read something about Russia getting cheaper games because I think their average salary is much lower and their government doesn't tax games to stupid ammounts (Check out the prices of games in Australia *Whistles*). Europe pays more as they have to stick to EU regulations of tax rates and that half the EU has crashed hard bringing the value of the Euro down low.
Or maybe it's businesses taking the mick, take your pick.
