The thing is, when i hover my mouse over her, it's red and a sword icon appears as if i am attacking her, there's literally no way to speak to her.
Maybe Im wrong, but who knows.
Try to do it anyways. Dont save later if you fight though.
If it doesnt work and nobody knows how to help you, try to post this in the bug section.
I think you can however continue the game without any problem. I dont remember talking to her was necessary at all. Maybe its not even broken and thats how the things turnned up because of your decision to broke into her room and fight her and the game adapted to it, who knows.
If Esmeralda's trade function wasn't disabled when he is thrown in jail you might have been able to talk to her with a henchmen, and bribe her enough that she would talk to the main characters.
If all else fails, you can just break into Evelyn's house just west of the clinic, though that bypasses a couple steps and a bit of experience.
