There's also several ways to increase accuracy, such as Bless buff, Leadership bonus, higher Perception, Precision stance.
Fighting higher level mobs decrease your chance to hit a lot, there're also some mobs, such as Goblins, who seem to have naturally high evasion.
Alternatively there're couple of CC effects which grant you 100% chance to hit. For example Stun, Knockdown, Freeze, Blind, Petrify. Your three wizards should have enough CC to make it happen pretty much permanently.
Accuracy aside, Rangers seem to be insanely strong.
As far accuracy goes, its not just based on your ranger's skill its also taking into account the opponents dexterity or defense. Depending on what difficulty you are playing, most humanoid enemies (orcs, goblins) generally have a pretty high dexterity. But then I barely use the rangers regular attacks. The Ricoshet, Silent hit and the various elemental and status effect damages don't need an accuracy check.
And to be honest Baidotr was my highest damage dealer at the end of the game. Especially Arrow Spread is crazy powerfull at point blank range.
