Unable to resolve frederick's blood stone quest

okay this is bloody annoying/stupid, you guys know the frederick's blood stone quest? the evil immaculate who lost the blood stone and was dying and crying for help? i talked to him, activated quest, found blood stone in maradino lair, went back, he's dead. i cant use ressurect scroll, if i use the stone, it will just be on my party.

WHAT DO I DO!?!? now im stuck with an unresolved quest, i cant talk to him, what on earth happened!!??!

You did the same thing I did, you resolved the imp's quest instead. Make him a bravery potion and Freddy dies.

I don't know if that quest has been fixed as I recall it was unresolvable some months before, however, I do recall that you have to use the blood stone on Frederick before abandoning him or else when you return, he'll be dead. At least in my experience, but I am unsure how consistent that is.

Anywho, did you find his Imp in Maradino's Lair? He's tucked away in the North/Northwest, I believe. Try talking to him and going through his dialogue options.

yeah i found the imp and resolved the imp's quest by giving him bravery potion as said by zonker39. how the heck does making the imp brave get frederick killed!?!? and it was not even shown that frederick was killed the imp. and im guessing i'll just wait for a fix to released? @.@ ugh T___T

No, if you hurry the imp goes back to Frederick and finds him there already dead. Next time I'm just going to heal him then kill him, he attacks you as soon as you do. Guessing you can still make the potion too and get the imp xp.
