Cannot go back to Lucalla Mine
I just snuck past the death knights and found Leandra's spell. then I went back to the Chapel where Mangoth is and got Leandra's blood. I have the special anti-invulnerability death knight spell, but I can't seem to go back to Lucalla Mine, either through the teleporter or in-person, so I can actually use it to kill those death knights.

I've heard some people say that the mines supposedly collapsed, but that can't be right, can it? Otherwise, what is the whole point of getting the spell if it isn't usable? Pretty much everything that has been happening recently in the story has been leading up to destroying her death knights, so I'm not sure exactly what I'm expected to do next as that was my main goal.

There will be more Death Knights later. I'm only in the mines because I need the spell for the Death Knights in the Phantom Forest. It seems odd that the teleporter by the White Witch's cabin doesn't work.

So is there a way back or not?

Have you tried the green mirror by the White Witch's cabin? As I said, I'm in the mine now so it hasn't collapsed yet for me. (I did the game out of order so I went to the last area of the game before I went to the mine.)

Yes. The White Witch's cabin leads to the underground cavern (with the lake), and then to Hiberheim (with the frost king and the staff of elements).

That isn't what I'm talking about.

I'm talking about the mine that the cultists were using to mine tenebrium. The one with the Death Knights you have to sneak past. I'm trying to go back to kill them but I can't because after I got Leandra's spell, the teleport location got taken out of my menu and I can't even walk in manually.

OK. Sorry, I just googled to see if I could find anything quickly. I only answered bc no one else had. I'm talking about the same mine you are. I skipped a lot of stuff bc I was trying to make combat fun.

When I got to the Phantom Forest (near the end of the game), I had to go to the Luculla Mine to get the blood so I could use it against the Death Knights in the Phantom Forest. You'll need the blood and the spell when you get there. So the blood isn't wasted even if you can't get back into the mine.

Maybe someone else can give you a better answer about whether it is possible to return to the mine.

no there is no way to get back in once you've finished. But theres really nothing in there to go back for anyway, besides if you want to revenge yourself on those death knights, so dont worry about it.

No it's not possible to go back inside the mine.
There will be more death knights later in the game, so keep that spell handy.

You should try to explore the entire mine before you enter the "Temple", using a character with the best sneak level. As others have said, there is no way back into the mine once it caves in.

Major spoiler.
There are two unguarded passages. One leads to a portal, the other leads to a pile of bodies that you can loot along with crates/barrels and if I remember rightly a chest. There are also some Imaculates deeper into the mine area that are worth taking out as well, if only for the experience points (I for one will not bypass experience points), but you will need to get the rest of your party to the ungarded portal and then get them past two DK's individually.

When you cross a rope bridge, in sneak mode, you will be heading south (on screen directions), and find yourself at a crossroads. Head into the unguarded eastern passage until you find the portal. With it activated you will be able to use the portal to get the rest of your party there, where they should wait. Your sneaking character should then head back to the crossroads. Wait until both DK's turn when they are somewhat in the middle of the open area. One heads north back across the bridge, the other goes back down the southern passage towards the temple entrance. Dash across the gap into the western passage, but be warned this passage is rife with traps. Your sneaking character should clear the traps until he/she reaches a couple of barricades. Stay in sneak mode. A small group of Imaculates are located the other side of the barricades. A quick save is recommended here. Note, I also go out of my way to take out every rat that crosses my path as well! Another job for the sneaking character.

The next step is to get the others to slip between the two DK's without being spotted. I recommend each character does this individually, and not in sneak mode as that is too slow. The DK coming back from the southern passage has a very short patrol route and if your characters move too slowly he will spot them. Advance along the eastern passage towards the crossroads until the character is just out of visual range of the DK's. Wait for them to turn north/south and then make a dash for the western passage and move down it to join up with the sneaking character and do a quick save. Repeat the process for the other members of your party. Once your party is linked up, with everyone in sneak mode you can slip through the gap between the barricades to hopefully hit the Imaculates with a surprise attack. Once you take out the Imaculates there is a passage to the south/southeast of their camp. Again more traps are located here. This passage leads to two sets of barricades and wooden walls which can be destroyed. The one DK here on the far side of this blockage turns and heads back to the crossroads. Your sneaking character can dash over to the temple ahead of you and enter it once you have taken out the blockage. However there is another unguarded passage to the south which leads to a deadend where the extra loot is to be found on the bodies of dead Imaculates, including some random Tenebrium items and containers I've already mentioned above.

You cannot go back to the mines. You'll fight the rest of her Death Knight army much later, just before the final areas of the game.

Thanks everyone for your help.

as for the mines collapsing, when your deep in the mine, running from the deathknights and using the teleporters, scroll around the map, and you'll notice you can see all the old parts of the mine you stealthed through and they're all flooded with lava. thats why you can't go back :P
