Non-heeled shoes for Scarlett mod
So I have been searching the Internet for a freaking mod concerning the dialogue UI and a non-heel shoe mod for Scarlett. Needless to say, but I have failed. Does anyone know of a mod that puts proper boots on Scarlett? I find the shoes a bit annoying, since no real fighter will ever wear high heels in combat (regardless of what anime, Tera, or other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ seems to say).

There aren't any shoe mods that I know of, but that should be feasible now: Editing GR2 meshes finally possible[www.larian.com].
that is nice. now i just gotta figure out how the editor and the other stuff works. Then i shall make my own freaking mod where the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ things are proper boots.

Sorry but if there is one thing that pulls me out of my immersion is stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like high heels on female fighters, regardless of the game. I mean I freaking love this game, I almost finished it at one point ( lost my save at one point though) but the heels on my fighter/mage just killed it. So I have been freaking trying to get either a mod or make one.

PS: I am also a feminist. Bring it on.

I didn't care for the boots initially, either (or the size of the male character's hands), but playing zoomed out most of the time, found I got used to them and it wasn't really noticeable.

The 3D artists created the characters straight from the concept art, and by the time Larian decided high heels didn't really fit starting off on a beach (etc), it was too late to make significant changes without having to redo all the animations (the shape of the foot being part of the skeleton). They were made a little more boot-like than they were initially.

lol if heels in a game kill your enjoyment for you, I'd hate to think of all the things that must bother you in the real world. What a debbie downer.
well let us see:child porn, rape, murder, harassment, Gamergate, people who can't respect other people's opinion. And congrats on the lack of reading comprehension as well, but then again it is the Internet, lack of reading ability, skills and comprehension is dominant. Also ♥♥♥♥ off with the assumptions. Just because I want a proper fighting gear for everyone doesn't mean ♥♥♥♥ beyond wanting proper fighting gear for everone. But hey keep strawmanning. None of your business what breaks my immersion.

PS: this was meant as help in finding mods. If you can't be bothered to help, then kindly go ♥♥♥♥ yourself with a cactus

lol there's that "immersion" world again. Also you might want to look into some anger management and sensitivity training, you seem to have some bigger issues than heels in a fantasy RPG.
Considering the fact that you have derailed a thread about modding, the only one that needs sensitivity training is you, since you seem unable to understand that people have different opinions and ways of enjoying media.

Also read the PS again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTmQWqXdBzM
Mandalore the Mad sure is mad.
So say the guys who invade a thread about modding a game and unable to respect other views and ways of enjoying games. Damn but the amount of salt from you butthurt "gamers" could kill off all life from Canada's lakes. And with this I am out. I don't need some BS from ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like you.

Why I was popping in to forums is to find out if they have removed the high heels. So I can understand Mandalore's problem. For me it was almost game breaking too. Not the picture or idea of high heels on characters, but when I realised that annoying high pitched sound was because of it.
I can't help, that sound annoys me so much. I just can't ignore it. Hope developers will remove.

I didn't even notice male and female characters having different footstep sound effects. Turning music and ambient off, though, the volume of female footsteps is a little lower, and the pitch might be slightly higher.

There will be some general changes and fixes in the sound system in the next update, but I don't recall this particular issue being reported before.

Then I'm gonna make a post in the "Bug report etc..." section. There are many people who are
finding it annoying too.
