That was one of the things listed as added in the last update, but I haven't looked for how to do it yet.

Thank you, that's what I heard as well. If anybody knows how to do it would be glad to know. Cause I went into witchcraft for resurrection and found out it's not in the game any more.

You can respec for 1000g when you open up Hall of Darkness in your Homestead (that's after clearing Immaculate Cathedral).
Not pricy, is it? Thing is you will FORGET EVERYTHING, all skills you have learned will be gone and you'll need to re-learn.
On the other hand you get to relocated all, abilities, stats, traits...

This is the problem I have with it. It's really difficult to re-find all of the skill books. It wasn't worth it to me. It'd be nice if any learned skills went back to your inventory as skill books.

Even the abilities you start with? Like Rogue invisibility which is so rare it's possible never to see it in a full playthrough?

yes everything is gone for skills, specially starting skills. it sucked for me because i had whirlwind on my knight, and now i cant get a replacement. the one i had was the one i found and now none of the stores are selling the book...

Whirlwind, Dust Devil and Barrage seem to not be available from traders.
Instead of fully respecing, you get the option to trade talents for ability points (1:10) and ability points for attribute points (5:1). So if you don't need the one point from "All Skilled Up" / "Know It All" right away, you get 2 Ability points instead later.

There is a mod in Larian forum : you will be able to keep all your spells books. That's usefull when you repsec but still Lairan should not do this and let us keep us all of our spells like in WoW.

This is a role playing game. WoW is an action kill-everything game. Apples and Oranges, friend.

In roleplaying games you are supposed to be hindered by your mistakes. They add flavor to the gameplay. Perfect characters make for very poor role playing. Thats how it works in pen and paper RPGs, anyway.

So, i really want to respec right now, as i start to grow weary about my missskilled heroes, so i'm asking here, since i do not get an answer by googling or anything similar.

I am currently in the white witches' house in the dungeon thingy, and my heroes are all level 10, close to level 11. When do i acutally unlock the Hall of Darkness, together with the option to respec my heroes? A certain amount of Bloodstone, or even especially a single one?
Jynxii 17 lipca 2014 o 13:46
they unlock in order, so it's not a specific bloodstone but at a certain total.

I don't remember the order off the top of my head, but pretty sure you will get it in the second chapter. Not a big fan of the respec option here as it forces you to give up all your skills, some of which I've never actually found at vendors nor have I found spell scrolls to make them myself, like barrage, for example.
RockCoach 17 lipca 2014 o 13:49
Well, that wont be much of a problem for me, since i have only aquired spells yet, that i actually can buy from another vendor again, nothing too spectacular.
Gradyn 18 lipca 2014 o 12:38
Just to mention to Jynxii, I purchased the Barrage skillbook from the fletcher in the first main town around level 5 I believe.

I was also able to purchase Dust Devil, as mentioned by eidolon232, from the warrior skillbook/captain of the guards at some point. If I didn't purchase the Dust Devil Skillbook, I know I saw it for sale from him, just dont currently remember if it was on my current play or during Early Access and it was at a lower level that I saw it (level 4-7).

bloodychaos17 do you have a link to that mod? I'm on the Larian forums right now, mod section, and I can't find a mod to respec anywhere. People just keep telling me to deal with it and wait until I unlock the last resort lose your skills respec option. Problem is, I'm having way too much trouble getting past the part I'm on, and I really really don't want to restart =\
HozzMidnight 23 lipca 2014 o 22:27
Respec is a good option but losing all your skill books is just too painful for casters. I did it on my Rogue and it was annoying even then. I couldnt find walk in shadows or the self-haste for two levels, and despite being level 1 abilities those are the best in the tree IMO.
