Not pricy, is it? Thing is you will FORGET EVERYTHING, all skills you have learned will be gone and you'll need to re-learn.
On the other hand you get to relocated all, abilities, stats, traits...
This is the problem I have with it. It's really difficult to re-find all of the skill books. It wasn't worth it to me. It'd be nice if any learned skills went back to your inventory as skill books.
Even the abilities you start with? Like Rogue invisibility which is so rare it's possible never to see it in a full playthrough?
Instead of fully respecing, you get the option to trade talents for ability points (1:10) and ability points for attribute points (5:1). So if you don't need the one point from "All Skilled Up" / "Know It All" right away, you get 2 Ability points instead later.
In roleplaying games you are supposed to be hindered by your mistakes. They add flavor to the gameplay. Perfect characters make for very poor role playing. Thats how it works in pen and paper RPGs, anyway.
I am currently in the white witches' house in the dungeon thingy, and my heroes are all level 10, close to level 11. When do i acutally unlock the Hall of Darkness, together with the option to respec my heroes? A certain amount of Bloodstone, or even especially a single one?
I don't remember the order off the top of my head, but pretty sure you will get it in the second chapter. Not a big fan of the respec option here as it forces you to give up all your skills, some of which I've never actually found at vendors nor have I found spell scrolls to make them myself, like barrage, for example.
I was also able to purchase Dust Devil, as mentioned by eidolon232, from the warrior skillbook/captain of the guards at some point. If I didn't purchase the Dust Devil Skillbook, I know I saw it for sale from him, just dont currently remember if it was on my current play or during Early Access and it was at a lower level that I saw it (level 4-7).
