Keys and objects that can't be picked up.
Anyone else have issues with overlapping objects, debri, etc. making things near impossible if not actually impossible to target? For example, me and my friend both can't pick up the key in the abandoned house at all.

And on an unrelated note, what is the best way do you think to get through the fire/lava type mobs? There aren't really any good offensive ice/water type spells. We'll be experimenting, but if you have any tips let me know!

I have encountered 2 keys that I can clearly see but cannot pickup. The one you mentioned, on fireplace, and the other is in a wash tub in a basement in town.

For fire, having Rain falling as much as possible will clear fire from the ground and put out any burn effects on your party.

The key in the basement that's in the tub u need hit the alt key and it will show its name and then you can pick it up...

I guess it could be a interaction bug of some sorts...

Qlox, thanks for the help, but we've been doing that. I meant in terms of damaging them. It looks like taking them on in small packs, freezing the smaller ones, and bleeding them as well as using that op ranger skill are all good methods.

Also thanks Minchi I will try that with both of them! My gf also mentioned the tub one, that was the other one we found.

First, unrelated, rain (spell) "weaken"s fire mobs; it also stops their burning.

About items and looting, It's such an obvious problem that I bet Larian is working on it. I just had the remains of an enemy prevent me from mousing over, and looting, what it dropped.

Yah. Looks like you have this covered by what I've read. It is just part of the strat of the game. Using abilities to figure it out.

If you cannot directly click on it or pick it up.
Press "alt" to show the tooltip, and click the tooltip, it should work to pick it up.

That didn't work for the one in the abandoned house - even though I had Telekinesis 1 - until I smashed the cloth-covered furniture beside the fireplace, then I could use Alt to pick it up. Apparently though you can pick it up from outside and behind the house.

Had the same experience. I think that's intentional.

Really...so your saying that theirs a Key that you can pick up from backyard but you can't pick it up by the fireplace...I might need to check that one out...it looks like they developers left something out on the plain sight so players can find this bug o.o;;;
