Is Bellegar worth keeping alive?

Spoilers ahead:

So I just killed all four demons, and entered the cave to find Bellegar. I killed him too, and go some sweet experience and loot.
The thing is, the stuff that he'll make me do ahead, are really worth keeping him alive?

In the beta, no. In the full version, killing Belegar there will deprive you of the rest of the Bellegar encounters in the game.

So I'm reviving this thread because I just killed this guy too. Didn't realize there was more content related to him later. Without giving anything away, is it worth it?

He drops some pretty good stuff. Plus, he's just annoying. But if there's significant content related to him later, I guess I'll reload and put up with him. For now.

Was level 19 when I met him the 2nd time. Got an achievement. No items I could use. Would say kill him early when the exp/loot is great. But it matters little either way.

Was level 7 when I met him first and him being level 15 I naturally couldn't kill him. I am surprised that people could kill him the first time they meet him?

Bellegar is a recurrent character In Rivellon games ^^ He usually gives you some little challenges giving rewards.

This was originally posted back in the Early Access, there it was possible to kill him for a nice amount of exp, him and his bellegarettes. Now not so much.
