I prefer to punch the chests to bits :)
Nice tip. I should start reading all the recipes.
Won't that destroy some of the things in though?
PUNCHING. No weapon in hand when PUNCHING.
Mind you, the ones with high hp take forever when just using your fists. That's why I always keep 2 or 3 junk weapons to beat on with.
I never use my actual fighting weapons to bash stuff. Anyhow, repairing is free so it don't really matter what weapon is used.
Putting those points into Body and Wisdom is far more usefull. You'll see when you start getting chain stunned/frozen later on because you can't make a save.
I'd like to hearby request a nerf to combat this chest opening exploit!
Exploit? Did you not pay attention in the tutorial when IT TEACHES YOU THIS METHOD!?!?!?!??
What points? I think you can get direct damage skills for every single skill-granting ability, and I can't imagine anyone not starting with ANY of them...
Drag a hammer (quite common to find) onto nails in your inventory. You may need 1 or 2 points in crafting to do it, not sure if it works with 0.
You also cant get access to doors or chests like that if there are npcs nearby, as if its flagged as an owned property they'll attack you. With lockpicks you can either distract the npc with one party member and open it with the other, or just use sneak / invisibility if you're a rogue.
