Wondering if I need to worry about this "kickstarter backer code" stuff
I recieved the game as one of the extra copies from a backer / friend of the devs.

I recieved two codes: one for Divinity itself, one for what steam recognized as "Steam Vault 4415" or so (not sure the eactual number, it has been a week).

Does this mean that I have the special DLC as well? Nothing shows up when I click "show DLC" in the library.

When I was logged in a day or so ago I did have the pants in my inventory. I cannot go in game to check because of Larian's brilliant descision to only make this code entry a one-time-only thing.

Its easy to overlook, what you have to do is: get your fiend to lock into the larian vault, go to the page where you got your steam key from and directly under the header which says 'summary' there should be two RED BOXES. The top one says something about Steam Alpha/Beta. The second box will have the following text
"If you create a profile in the game and it asks you for a Kickstarter backer code, please use the following unique, personal code. You can select this code and then copy it. You can paste it by clicking the small green button in the game next to the input box."
There is a long code right there. Use it when the game asks for it.

If you have one of the extra copies, ask your friend for the code, they should be infinitely usable as far as I can see, at least it doesn't say otherwise.

I think he got his from the physical release, but I will have to ask him when he gets back on

The real kicker is I can't play the game until he comes back which might not even be today

Based larian making this a one-time code input.
