Lone wolf perk (and level up explanations)
So am I missing something? The line wolf perk gives an additional skill point upon level up. But while I occasionally receive that point upon level up, other times I receive no points at all. No points towards strength or intelligence and only a single point towards the "class" skills. Can someone explain this to me? Or direct me to where the game explains it?

seems we need mod lone wolf to better...
Are you sure you're not just spending 2 points at once every other level? Some people have been confused by the costs of abilities (1 point for lvl 1, 2 for lvl 2, 3 for lvl 3 etc.)
My precious lone wolf ;_;

They also nerfed lone wolf now. It only gives 60% life, you no longer get 2 action points at the start of the combat and now it only gives 1 extra action point per turn... kinda bummer :/

Really? Because I just checked by making two Rogues, one with Lone Wolf, the other without. Both the description and the actual numbers still indicate that the bonus is +80%.

(The normal rogue had 39 HP. With 60% bonus health, that would be 62 HP, but the actual health of the Lone Wolf Rogue was 70 - or 80% bonus health.)

No, I understand how the costs to upgrade escalate, it just seems that the points I receive are very erratic.

If you check the stats (like vitality, action points) it says the bonus is just 60% from lone wolf. Before the patch a character with 5 con and lone wolf would start with 108 hp, now they start with 91.(and 59hp without lone wolf).

There is also a 15% vitality bonus, but I'm not sure where that comes from.

my understanding is that you receive skill points upon each level up, and a stat point on every other level. but with the lone wolf perk i appear to be receiving 1 skill point and then 2 skill points alternating upon level up. i still receive a stat point every other level.

So you're saying that with lone wolf, at level 2 you only get one ability point? (also, there are no skill points, there are ability points, talent points and atribute points)

.....because im using the wrong terminology....i get a single point for strength/intelligence/dexterity every 2 levels. i get 1 point and then 2 points alternating on level up for witchcraft/man at arms/scoundrel etc. im level 10 now and have gotten 2 additional points for the "perks" like backstabber or lonewolf. does that better explain?
Mikael 27. Juni 2014 um 8:36
Yes, much better now :)

But it seems that your game is bugged than. Without lone wolf you were supposed to get 1 ability point for level 2-5, 2 points for 6-10 and 3 points from then on. So, even without the lone wolf talent you should have always received 2 points after level 5.

Well, unless they changed stuff, it was supposed to be like that. I'm mostly fooling around at low levels and never got that high.

that has not been the case. well, i hope it gets fixed with the patch im currently downloading. are the other point values correct?
Mikael 27. Juni 2014 um 8:56
Think so. Attribute points should be 1 every even level and talent points 1 every odd level.
efd731 27. Juni 2014 um 8:58
well i only have 2 talent points from level up....so 4 total. maybe a bit off

The 15% vitality bonus is for Normal difficulty. I was playing on Hard so had a -25% vitality penalty.

I'm not disputing your numbers, but I can't figure out how the game is calculating the HP.
