Camp/Rest/Heal ?

Will there be an option to rest up and heal in the full version? I hope so -otherwise it will be necessary- rather than optional- to have a healer (or 2) in your party...

Just buy \ craft food. There is reason why there are so many food recipes in the game.

healing potions or food is an option or simply learn a healing spell with your fighter since the system is classless nothing should prevent your from doing so. There is no rest button like in Baldur's gate though

Up until a few patches ago you were also able to use chairs/benches/beds and such to heal slowly. I'm not sure if it was intentionally removed or not, but I imagine we might see it again.

The effect was removed from chairs and benches deliberately. You can still use a bed / mat to rest and heal.

An abandoned house with a free bed or two can be found outside the city to the northwest once you reach level 3 and can visit that area safely.

Do they? Last time checked the beds weren't even working anymore. (This was about 1 week ago)

The beds worked for me in the previous patch, which would have been last week.

Why dont you simply use a heal spell/skill outside of combat?

Nap Time: You can use beds to rest and heal back up, as long as they’re unowned/unoccupied. Some of the empty houses on the outskirts of Cyseal are useful for this. It’s also possible to use spells outside of combat, so taking a few seconds to cast healing on people works as well.

You get so many health potions it shouldn't really be a problem, even without a healer.

Hilariously, one of the easiest places to do this early in the game is Jake's murder scene. I set up a pyramid just for this.

Usually you want at least one early point in Hydro somewhere in your party, but one time I had to run after she died and I had to research the question in earnest.
