1 - I do believe I can find 7 useful talents for mages, though by that time it would be like beating a dead horse anyway. As for morethan a couple lvl 5 magic schools...well let's just say my bars are already beyond capacity.
3 - The most useless talent you could ever take, despite what everyone seems to think. I got like 20k exp, the location of a secret, and the answer to one puzzle that wasn't easily deciphered in a way that didn't require Google or a Talent point. Sure some rats give you extremely vague clues on puzzles, but not enough to make it worth the talent point.
4 - This does suck, especially on mages.
honestly, the other traits aren't comparing to being able to buy/sell things at nearly cost. I do wish I still had a point to spend on the extended spell range talent though (wound up using it for pet pal). I do find pet pal useful, btw...I guess if you get info from the internet, it's not that amazing...but that pulls you out of the game too. Pet pal adds some flavor that I really like.
