Man at arms stances.
Are they useful, even with the powerful stance the damage input isn't that different.

They are.

Apparently power stance can actually LOWER your damage output (per AP spent). The only time it proves useful is when you can only afford one attack and the regular 1x damage is not enough to kill, really.

Also, rage+oath+flurry apparently vaporizes knocked down foes, including the final boss....

Ah yes flurry sounds awesome!! Thats going to be my next skill to get once I boost my man at arms past 6. I also need Walk in the Shadows and Fast Track. So far cloak and dagger is proving quite useful. Oh man I can't wait for dual weild gets added on, I am going to cash in all my skill points in 2H to that. I hope devs took the time to animate... I will be dissapointed if their skills are like projectiles and spells. Also how is the animation on flurry, does your char actually do attacks or is casting motion with effects from bleed spell.?

Wait, are you a rogue or a Fighter? Also, as for Walk in Shadows, I'm pretty sure if you didn't start the game with it it's unobtainable.

The flurry animation does four hits, but really it looks more like a single two handed thrust (or a hit with sword and shield together, if doing one-handed).

Dissapointing... and no its entirely obtainable. I am mostly 2H fighter with 1 point in socundrel. Which allows me to get walk in the shadows and cloak and dagger. Although with invisibility in tow I might consider unlearning that skill and switching it up for tripping. Perks and skills are restricted by your level in a particular style as well as some extra req like high dex. You have those two and youa are pretty good. The good news is that there is a respec option so I can unlearn the build if its not compatible at higher levels.

Yeah, I had a choice to go secondary dex or int, and int had a lot more useful stuff. I skipped scoundrel on my 2h warrior, and went for 1 in marksman for Tactical Retreat for an escape. Plus, invis potions are easy and cheap, just armor potion + air resist potion to make one.

In magic skills (1 geo, 1 hydro, 1 pyro) I get a haste with wildfire, multiple buffs a spider summon that can't fail to cast, oil to slow enemies and burn them with oil (combined with throwing candles for 3 AP cast and 2 AP candle toss), trigger bully, and also blocks line of sight with the smoke. Killer setup for only 5AP.

Hmmm I got msot of these skills but the hotbat being so limited I mainly stick one set up. its been a while since i actually cheked up on all the skills i know. Made some changes to the warrior lately... dust devil and helping hand were useless. I could use some more defensive spells in my mages reptoirs.
