pressure plates in tutorial dungeon
Ok, I know this is not even funny, but I'm stuck in the tutorial dungeon - there are two pressure plates, that will open stone doors. I've tried to use teleport and put those big coal baskets next that are next to those doors on the plates, but it's not working. Same with vases, I've put them on the plates, but still nothing. Any idea how to open those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ doors?

i was frustrated because of something else
a) bug that after you move the big baskets on the plates using teleportation you cant move them away which basicallly forces you to reload (pressuming you have save)
b) that the same trick doesn't work with more sofisticated game mechanics - moving same vase with teleportation won't trigger it

I may be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure that an earlier tutorial message tells you that you can drag stuff around.
Heck it took me and my friend about six hours to relise we can teleport chests and barrels with spells.
I didn't even know you could teleport stuff with the spell until I read this >.> lol.

Also it does say you can Click+drag stuff and you had to use that mechanic earlier in the dungeon to progress. Ala bridge blocked by barrels.

The game told me as soon as I touched a broken vase.

I thought it said there that I had to crush the barrels, so I used a fireball spell or something similar, since I didn't know I could just break it with my weapon, which I found out later (didn't study the controls section).

Anyway I think they should improve the tutorial. Tutorials are for learning the basics, after that everyone can experiment with the game and its rules.

Btw, I never acountered these kind of mecanics in (old-school) rpg's. It's more like adventure game puzzles. Also, in old school games there was always a 40 page manual included with the game disc, I don't see these anymore in Steam.

oh, this game is fcking kidding me.. so the tutorial msges will tell you anything BUT the small detail that you can actually move stuff bu click and drag.. wow.. and I was playing with the teleportation all the time.. so sad..

It actually told you that when you came to the first bridge and had to move the boxes and barrels out of your way so you could continue. There was a little pop-up that gave you that message. You had to click on the checkbox to make it go away.

That would require reading the message. I believe the modern response today for messages, and dialog is to press enter or next. 8P

What a pathetic thread... everything you need to know is laid out in the tutorial - that's why it's a tutorial. If you don't want to read the supplied tips, don't whine when you have no idea what to do.
Wow. Small wonder that we have such dumbed-down games nowadays.

I find that I I mostly play old games, mind you DA1 was fun, a little thinking was require, to win the big fights. Sadly not many games today test your brain, instead most just want to see how fast you can push buttons. Even Square-Enix has destroyed their main rpg and turned it into a twitch game.

OP had a legit question, they had obviously clicked past or forgot the "you can drag things" message and without that you might not try dragging containers around, not a lot of games let you do that, lets not insult them over it.
The necro is strong here. Look, this has already been solved(long ago), so need to keep posting.
