So, who else thought Divinity II: Dragon Knight Saga was really good?

So I know this is all the big hype, but I loved Divinity II. Being the Dragon was kickass. The gear was neat, I did most quests. Maybe it was just becauuse it was one of the few games I had when I had no Internet for 6 months, but I found it super enjoyable.

I thought the choices you made and reactions were really cool. Like when you find out the three guards are stealing, and get them sent on patrol and they're fighting the Ogre that was on the Wanted Monster List, seeing stuff like that was way cooler than any of the choices in a game like Mass Effect, it reminded me of VTMB.

I always think of it as an under-rated gem, and the dialogue was amazing. The Ginyu force references, combat, everything. I liked the story, even.

I never played Divine Divinity, though now I own it and it's sequel. I know it's a far-cry from what Original Sin is, it's gameplay and all that, but I hope the success of OS drives them to create another game like Divinity II.

I own D:OS and will get around to playing it eventually, just waiting for a few patches, to finish a few other games, ect. I also know they should go with their success and make another turn-based...but honestly I like Divinity 2 better than Skyrim and various other Action RPGs.

Both have their appeal, I like both Genres, and I know Larian is a small studio and can't possibly work on two games at a time, but maybe after an OS Expansion or Sequel in the same vein as this one, they could make another DKS like game.

Building your own monster, managing the Tower...ect, exploring all the world. It was fun, interesting, and I generally liked the characters.

Whie Divinity 2 was good it wasnt nowhere near as great as Divine Divinity.

Divinity 2 was a good game, but it was Larian's worst RPG, after D:OS, DD, and BD. You know your studio is in pretty good shape when you can say that Divinity 2 is your worst game.

Yeah, but I love all the divinity games in different ways. It felt like a much more focused open world, elder scrolls type game. And the various ways to do many quests was amazing!

Divinity 2 was solid but not as good as Divine Divinity or Original Sin.
