Treasure maps and perception, do they worn in tandem?
I've purchased a few treasure maps, but despite staning directly on top of some of the treasure's locations I can't find them. Does a character need a certain perception level to be able to spot them despite having bought the treasure map?

Don't know, but a shovel might help.

Like previous poster said, if you have the treasure map you don't need perception. Just equip a shovel and start digging where the map says it is.

I have a shovel..and yes I do believe you need a certain level of perception to find the treasures because I am only able to get the first few treasures at this point

Well, you don't have to see the spot in order to dig up the treasure and I doubt you need high perception in order to use a shovel.

You have to have something to dig..The shovel does not just dig in any spot. I have the first 4 treasure maps. The first 2 give me a clickable spot to dig in. the other 2 give me nothing. Perception is involved I am sure. Have you dug up all the treasures.

Maybe this ones bugged, it can't be that hard to spot a treasure chest, how many treasures have you dug up so far?

Yes, the shovel digs wherever you like. Equip it and dig. And yes, we dug up all treasures from the maps on Cyseal. We found one with perception, the rest we dug up manually.

most spots have a perception boosting herb nearby in cyseal, at least outdoors.
i detected all of them with a perception of 8 in total.
