Daggers Drawn Ability
Sounds cool at first but it seems to do way less damage then it should for 8 AP. I can hit one Backstab for like the same damage for 2 AP, Am I missing somthing here?

"Effekt: Deal four times damage: weapon damage." so its kinda 4 attacks :) And 8 AP cost is ok, cos all that attacks got 100% chance to hit (not 4x like 80%)

Yeah but with sneaking at a 6 I do the same damage with a crouch sneak attack for 3 ap as the entire 8 point combo. If you could get the guerilla bonus on the ability it might be worth it but it doesnt seem to let you.

If the AP cost is too high for what it is, thats a design issue so I can't go into that, but try using the spell when you are in backstab position - it should do massive damage :)

I don't play a rogue-type character, so I may be wrong, but doesn't attacking from stealth reveal your character and doesn't entering stealth cost 6 AP? If I'm correct, then attacking the way you describe it costs 9 AP plus however many you need to get behind your enemy.

With higher Stealth lvl you get lower stealthing cost in battle. @5 you have only 1AP cost + 2 AP attack = 3 AP :)

Ah, okay. I stand corrected, then.

It does do good damage but after a few tests testing it out on my tank at lvl 11 it seems to be worth about 60 damage per action point where repeat sneak+Backstabb is about 80 points per action point. Was just hoping to find a use for this. Thanks for the comments so far. Seems like only feesbile use is if u cant hide before your attacks but thats pretty rare so far

According to what Lar said, you should be able to deal massive dmg with that skill while behind enemy...
BloodySunday Jul 9, 2014 @ 5:43am
I am behind the him it does about 500 damage to my full tank character from behind and cost 8ap. My sneak plus back stabb does about 450 to him which costs 3 action points.
Arteas Naur Jul 9, 2014 @ 5:49am
So no idea :D It should deal 4x backstab dmg :)

all Larian games have huge balance flaws. I dont undestand why u so surprised by finding one usless skill.
Xasn Jul 9, 2014 @ 6:15am
THis skill doesnt proc on guerilla talent.(sneak double dmg) The warrior has the skill FLURRY which does EXACTLY the same as daggers drawn. But its far more devastating because with a two-handed weapon you still hit 4 times for the cost of 8 ap. (Which normally costs 16 ap for 4 times normal attack)

A two handed weapon has twice the ap costs and twice the damage of a dagger. But with this skill it hits as many times as a dagger for the same amount of ap.

UNBALANCED. Please buff daggers drawn.

Hehe yeah, compared to flurry, the most powerful single target damage skill in the game, daggers drawn is super weak. My warrior oneshot every boss past level 15 with flurry, rage + oath of desecration:P Daggers drawn can't do this.
