(HELP) Looking for a Whetstone - RNG edition
Ok, so I am playing with 2 different profiles, one solo and one coop.
While coop I found a whetstone in a barrel at lvl2.

Atm I am playing solo and I am level7 and I cannot find/buy a whetstone.
I run around town and talk to every, every NPC and merchant and I can't find any......
Am I blind ?
Is there an NPC that sells one or a location I should have been to or is it just RNG ?

thx

If you want to sharpen weapons and don't mind the trip to town, there's a (non-portable) whetstone wheel at the smithy area behind the abandoned house. Others can be found here and there, including Silverglen and (eventually) your homestead.

Thanks, I know about the wheel I just found it puzzling that a simple whetstone is so rare :D
I found legendaries but no whetstone :)

I only got one whetstone either before leaving the Cyseal area, or somewhere about the beginning of Luculla, it's kinda ridiculous for an item that is one-use only. I've been using the wheels instead. =)

I did not even realize there is a portable version. I have been using the stationary wheel whetstone in Cyseal.

Yeah, it's super rare, and to top it off, one use. It's silly seeing as most, if not all of your bread and butter on crafing and blacksmithing are all multi use.

I didn't get a whetstone until Luculla either and I believe it was quite an accidental find in that I could have easily missed the location. Is it Neverwinter, I think you had portable ones that you had to replace after use...like repair hammers. Yes, that system may be better.

At least there are the stationary spots -- wish there was more than an anvil in the homested though even if you had to work for it somehow. I guess it keeps you in touch with "humanity" to have to travel etc.
