Divinity: Original Sin (Classic)

(Spoiler)Hm, why is the final boss again a ....?
Almost every RPG I played in the last years has a dragon as final boss of the main quest e.g. Skyrim, Dragon Age Origins, Witcher 2 (without the epiloque), Two Worlds 2, Kingdoms of Amalur or Deathwing in WoW.
And here we have again a dragon, the Void Dragon. Why can't we have something else, like e.g. a void demon, snake, frog or whatever. Is there nothing else, which is able to doom the world?

Because Dragon is alway badass:D You would prefer to say : I killed Pig from Hell or I killed Dragon? 2nd one sounds much better :D
I agree. Dragons are played out.
Hey, fighting The Shadowhog could be pretty epic...

I'd like the last boss to be a regular human that just pits other humans against you, that makes you the bad guy in the eyes of the world. Someone that politically manipulates the world against you. That would be something.
