I'd play with someone who isn't a ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Unless you're playing exactly the same class why would you have any problems with loot? You'll end up wanting to send each other various items for various reasons like crafting/blacksmithing/identifying, it's best to communicate about it with your partner so you don't get so stressed :)

or one of you does all the looting and all the selling+buying new items etc ;)
only works if you know your coop mate though :>

Why for example, when we are in the same zone, have the possibility to choose one after the other, one item find in a chest? For example the paper, sheet, scissor game for the first one to choose? And for the money from stealing, it's a little to easy to do, with not a lot of risk. The mercants bought to easily stolen stuff.

This isn't a co-op issue, it is an issue because of the people involved.

Me and my friend have no problems when it comes to looting and we play different classes and even share money if needed. There is no race or competition involved at all, and the 'host' conttrols the save, so you can easily get back anything from 'player 2' messing up.

i was hoping for the D&D expirience. you cant even see when the other guy loots something. just a msg would be nice. then you can atleast talk about it

You can see what items the other guy loots, steals, sends to henchmen, etc. I don't know if it's enabled by default, perhaps you need to enable in the the information window (the one where combat log and npc dialog is in).

I play with a friend of mine. I'm a rogue and he's a magic user. I get all loot that he doesn't want equipped and I do all the selling since I have better bartering skills. I purchase skills and items for both of us.

If he loots something he can't use, he sends it to me for selling or equipping if it's something my rogue can use. If I loot anything that could be interesting for him, I'll send it to him to take a look at.

It's not a competition, it's co-op. I might get all money but I buy all our skills and items anyway.

This isn't an MMO. Your CoOp partner is not some random guy competition. If you are playing with random people that rush to loot and don't play as a team, then that is your problem. Stop playing with random people or MMO buddies. Play the game with someone who actually wants to play the game as a team.

they are playing "your" game. so even if he loots ALL the loot..its still yours...just play the game without him...........

Exactly. The host has the save file, so once he's DC'd you can easily take back whatever her took that you wanted.

Certainly that will work, but his main problem is with the people he plays with. He needs to just play with people who actually want to play a CoOp game. The way he acts is like a guy that is dating a hooker and then complains about all the strange men coming and going from his home. People need a clue.
