Where is a mining pick

Hve not found 1 yet...any mining picks in Cyseal.

It's kinda random, but I've seen a lot of them.

There are several available out in the open in the next town in the game, but you probably won't get there until you're around level 10. Other than that, they seem to be random. I didn't find any in Cyseal.

My 1st playthrough I saw none in Cyseal.
My 2nd playthrough I saw none in Cyseal.
My 3rd playthrough I saw 2 on a vendor and 1 drop as loot.

Therefore random, and uncommon. And at bit expensive at 1200 or so.

serioiusly then how u gonna mine w/o a pickaxe, specially since they have mines all over in cyseal wow..PUT A DAMN better drop rate on it..i havent found one an im already lvl 7..passed so many nodes..lucky ive found ore as drops or id not be able craft ♥♥♥♥.

I didn't find any until I reached level 6 and then I found 3 in short succession. Just chance I guess. Now I need to remember where I saw the ore deposits I could not access before...

Keep hitting around vendors, there's usually one or two laying around. If not wait until you hit Silverglen, you'll find loads around there, think I ended up with about 8.

Look in caves, mines, babandon carts around areas and random houses by the docks. I never had a problem finding them... then again I have been playing on hard from the start. Onething I can praise Skyrim for is ingraining the caution of keeping simple tools around. Cause you never know... mining next to open world is a pretty popular thing in RPGs today. Shovel too, have not found a use for the broom or fishing stick besides setting it on fire and using it as a 2hander weapon.

yeah i have every other tool expect the pick axe lol =/ its really rediculous..but you guys said i'll eventually find one if not in cyseal then in silverglen =D i'll keep my eyes open

I found one right away at the army merchant. she is located on the second floor of the army kitchen were you have to kill the chicken.

found mine in the basement of the lighthouse in Cyseal. i was level 4
